Sinclair Health Clinic

Director Master Ashley wanted to contribute to the local community during her undergrad degree at Shenandoah Univeristy by using her plateform. She has intern for multiple medical facilities over the years of her undergrad studies and one thing that came up that's so common in the United States was the lack of healthcare access. Master Ashley had decided to use her 5th dan testing as an opportunity to have a local clinic that was in need of medical necessities such as medications, nutrition education, maternal health, vaccinations, medical visits, and diabetic necessities. Master Ashley needed to complete a breaking of 150 one-inch thick boards as part of her testing. She had requested if anyone would donate at least $10, they would have an opportunity to have a board written in their request for their current life trial. These donations would make it possible to help those especially under poverty levels to get the health they need. At the end of this fundrasier, Master Ashley was successful of raising $1500 to the Sinclair Health Clinic in Winchester, Virginia. She and her collegues are currently looking for other future ideas similar to this to give back to local communities.
